Vikash is an Engineering Research Associate at the Stanford Institute for Neuro-Innovation & Translational Neurosciences. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science at Stanford University in 2010 with the thesis "Towards clinically viable neural prosthetic systems" in the laboratory of Krishna Shenoy. As a member of the BrainGate team, he applies a systems engineering approach and user interface design concepts to improve closed loop control performance.
